In MOOC courses, we're often spread out, and celebratory moments go unnoticed – birthdays, module completions, passing assessments… To make these moments more special, I discovered a simple format: a Happy birthday card. It works like this: we create a virtual card, share the link, and everyone can add messages, photos, or emojis – without needing to sign up.
Has anyone tried something similar in an online context? What ideas do you have for fostering more connection in remote courses?
