My 2017 A5 has gone through three batteries in four years and I'm honestly exhausted trying to figure out if it's just the Dubai heat or if there's something quietly draining it while parked overnight. The dealer keeps telling me it's normal for the weather but I see plenty of other Audi owners not swapping batteries twice a year, so either I'm incredibly unlucky or there's a parasitic draw they can't be bothered to chase. I've been hunting for actual Dubai Audi Car Battery Experts who do proper diagnostic checks instead of just swapping terminals and sending you on your way, because half the shops I call don't even seem to understand the battery management system needs coding afterwards. Funny enough I came across battery zone uae while doom-scrolling at 2am and they specifically talk about Audi BMS coding and AGM batteries which gave me a tiny bit of hope, but I'd rather hear from real people first before booking anything. Has anyone dealt with a proper specialist who will actually test the alternator and check for phantom drains, or am I stuck just budgeting for a new battery every summer like it's some kind of subscription service?
