I've been thinking about getting a used Brabus for a while, a G800 or maybe a Rocket, but I keep holding back because I'm genuinely worried about where I'd take it for servicing and repairs. I've had Mercedes cars before and I know a few decent independent garages that work on them, but a Brabus is a completely different level of engineering with all the performance upgrades and tuning. I'm not the kind of person who just drops their car at the dealership and doesn't care about the cost, so I'd really like to find a specialist who actually knows these cars inside out and doesn't charge ridiculous prices. I live in Abu Dhabi and I've heard there are a few workshops around that specialize in high-performance German cars, but I'm not sure which ones actually have the right diagnostic equipment and trained technicians for Brabus-specific systems. I've been looking at a place that offers genuine Brabus repair in Abu Dhabi because they seem to have good reviews and they mention using factory-grade diagnostic tools and genuine parts. Has anyone here actually taken their Brabus to an independent specialist and had a good experience? I'm particularly interested in whether they can handle engine tuning and ECU work properly, because that's not something I'd trust to just any mechanic. I'd really appreciate some honest recommendations before I commit to buying one of these cars.
