I’ve been preparing for the ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification, and one thing I realized quickly is that just reading isn’t enough.

This exam is structured in a way where you need to pass both the SPI (physics) exam and a specialty exam, so it really tests how well you apply concepts, not just memorize them

What started working for me:

Understanding core concepts instead of memorizing
Practicing exam-style questions regularly
Reviewing weak areas again and again

I found some useful practice questions here…

Once I focused more on practice, things started improving a lot.

Theory alone wasn’t enough for me. Application made the real difference.

What strategy is working for you guys?
