Terrain's transmission is shuddering – any decent GMC workshops around?

I've got a bit of a worry with my Terrain that's been developing over the past few weeks, and I'm hoping someone here might have some insight before I end up spending a fortune. The transmission has started this subtle shuddering sensation when I'm cruising at highway speeds, almost like the torque converter is struggling to lock up properly, and it's been getting progressively more noticeable the longer I drive. I've already had the transmission fluid checked and it looks clean, so I don't think it's a fluid issue, which makes me worry that it might be something more internal that's going to be expensive to fix. I've been driving GMC vehicles for years and I know that some of these transmissions have a bit of a reputation for torque converter problems, so I want to get this looked at before it turns into a complete failure that leaves me stranded. I've been asking around for recommendations and it seems like finding a Quality GMC Workshop in Abu Dhabi is really important because these transmissions need someone who actually understands the specific programming and components rather than just a general mechanic who might not be familiar with the quirks. Has anyone here dealt with transmission shudder on their Terrain or similar GMC model, and if so, what was the outcome and which shop did you use? I'm really hoping this isn't going to be as bad as I'm imagining.
